I parked my car and went into the mini market. The shelves were totally empty. The Shop assistant was emptying the tills. "Oh sorry" he said "we are closing down." The next day the demolition crew moved in. I was the last customer. I was struck by the deep blue dusky sky up against the acidy hue of the station lights, which I suppose would have been not replaced recently due to the closure.
